Through expert insight and practical discussion, attendees learned how to identify and assess frailty, apply individualised HbA1c targets, and take a more proactive approach to supporting people living with frailty and Type 1 diabetes. The course was designed to build confidence in using diabetes technology, understanding the diversity of frailty, and supporting people living with cognitive impairment. It also equipped participants with practical strategies to support carers, improve collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, and enhance day-to-day clinical assessment and decision-making.
