This brand-new conference was designed to enhance diabetes management and patient-centred care through the use of technology, pharmacotherapy and improved access.
Attendees took advantage of a valuable opportunity to network with fellow diabetes healthcare professionals from across the country. The event helped delegates stay ahead in the management of Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes by exploring innovative approaches to optimising technology, improving access to care and integrating pharmacotherapy into their clinical strategies.
Participants learned directly from leading figures in diabetes care, who shared valuable insights to help expand clinical skills, improve patient outcomes and maintain a cutting-edge approach to diabetes management.
Novo and Abbott have provided sponsorship to SBK Healthcare to cover the cost of this meeting. The sponsors have had no influence over the meeting agenda or arrangements, content development or choice of speakers, except where indicated.
Now in its 6th year, this national in-person conference returned with a fresh programme
Attendees stayed up to date on the national rollout of the latest diabetes technologies and explored ways to maximise the clinical benefits of Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) for patients with Type 2 diabetes.
They examined the impact of Hybrid Closed Loop (HCL) systems on weight management, enhanced their approaches to supporting people living with diabetic co-morbidities, and learned how to optimise HCL systems during daily exercise and routines to achieve the best possible outcomes.
The event also addressed health inequalities and encouraged collaboration on strategies to improve diabetes services.
Enhancing expertise, collaborating with peers and making a real difference in the future of diabetes care
Attendees took one day out to empower their services through:
- Networking with peers from around the country
- Interactive Q&A sessions that expanded learning and deepened insights
- Expert presentations from leading diabetes specialists across the UK
- Real-world case studies addressing complex challenges and overcoming common barriers
- Staying ahead of advancements in technology to achieve the best patient care
